Took this deck through the Dreamlands (The Dream Quest / Sleeping) and it performed amazingly, some of the most fun I've had playing this game.

For a level 0 build, downgrade all the cards to their level 0 counterparts. Shards of the Void becomes Shrivelling, the Four of Cups becomes another Crystal Pendulum, and Recall the Future becomes whatever you want it to be. In my level 0 version of this deck, Familiar Spirit and Recall the Future were two copies of Prescient but I ended up not really using Prescient all that much and got rid of it.

If I ever ran a similar deck like this again, I would get rid of Scrying Mirror as I never really wanted to use it over my Ritual Candles.

Let me know if you take this deck for a spin, and have fun! Jacqueline is truly amazing. (And if you want a pairing suggestion, Stella Clark is really fun with her, and also maybe canon? Just look at Stella's letter.)

Mulligan Tips:

Hard Mulligan for Sixth Sense, Arcane Initiate, and Crystal Pendulum. Obviously attack spells are nice, but in multiplayer you usually don't need them immediately and Arcane Initiate is vital to fish 'em out.

Synergies:

Arbiter of Fates with upgraded Sixth Sense can get you 4 clues in two actions pretty often by allowing you to use Jacqui's ability twice and hit two face tokens. This is obviously dependent on how many revealed locations there are, but it was solid in Dreamlands.

Try to seal as many 0's on Shards of the Void as you can, and then you can usually Azure Flame safely. 2 damage can be tough at upgraded levels of the spell, but 2 horror adds up and is way more common to trigger with Shrivelling. Plus, your Robes of Endless Night is tanky enough. This combo if why I recommend a third spell slot, but in evade heavy campaigns, I can see losing one of these spells and getting a Mists of R'lyeh or Ineffable Truth.

Edits I'd Make Now: Thinking about it more, I'd probably replace the mirrors with Sign Magick and open up a slot for something other than Familiar Spirit. Between Uncage the Soul and Voice of Ra money isn't too tight in this deck.

Can you explain how having Arbiter of Fates and upgraded Sixth Sense can get you 4 clues in two actions? Sixth sense does not let you investigate an additional time if multiple symbols are drawn as far as I am aware - it is just worded to trigger its ability "If a [symbol] is revealed during this test".

@tylorlilley

Upgraded Sixth Sense specifically says "If a symbol is revealed during this test, you may choose a revealed location up to 2 connections away from your current location; you are now investigating as if you were at the chosen location IN ADDITION to your location (you may use either shroud value)."

That means you get a clue at your location as well as at a location up to 2 connections away if I am interpreting it correctly (which I'm almost sure I am).

With Arbiter of Fates you can use Jacqui's ability twice, and can usually hit a symbol token twice in a turn.

2 different investigation actions, and if the board is right, 4 clues.

Ah, I see what you mean now - that's nice! Sorry if I was being dense - I still get rules wrong sometimes.

I really like the general look of this decklist and think I will try it out for our next run through Circle Undone (with a few tweaks to account for the fact that my partner will be playing a Nathaniel Cho deck and therefore be more equipped to deal with monsters than with gathering clues). I am thinking of swapping the Shards of the Void/Shriveling out for Drawn to the Flames as a result.

@tylorlilley All good! Your comment just made me panic a little because I was like OH NO I PLAYED IT WRONG THIS WHOLE TIME!

I think Drawn to the Flame is always a solid choice in TCU, but Read The Signs could be nice too to circumvent Haunted in a different way. You might ping more 0s without Shards. But I still think Azure Flame is less painful in the long run, especially if you do end up using two Arcane Researches.

Let me know how it goes! And I hope it performs as well as it did for me, for you!

I'm curious to hear more about why you would take Scrying Mirror out of your deck in future playthroughs. If playing anything other than solo, then the mirror grants support to fellow team members to know what token they will draw before committing for a big turn. Is it just too situational? I look forward to hearing your account. Thank you.

@VanyelAshkeHi there, a little bit late, but from what I remember I really felt that it was just too situational, and honestly the biggest issue was that for 3 resources it was just a little bit too expensive as I always wanted to play other things in my hand more. But I think it's one of those cards that really depends on the player. I play 2 player almost exclusively and my partner was playing Stella, so we didn't really need to know how the test would go half the time because a failure wasn't a speed bump. Those were sort of my reasons for suggesting people go without it--and weirdly, I think it's better in non Jacqueline decks.

Ha, love that detail on Stella's letter, hadn't noticed that. Reading this has made me really want to play with these two together.
