A Mandy Thompson deck built for the Dunwich Legacy. I played this paired with a Zoey, on Standard, and had a great time of it. It was a little rough starting off as we figured out how our respective decks functioned, but then it was a breeze thereafter. I haven't seen many Survivor Mandy builds so wanted to post this one!

Upgrades-wise, this deck reaches a really strong point by the end of even the XP-light Dunwich. The first and most important upgrade is Higher Education. Then, upgrade one Archaic Glyphs to the Archaic Glyphs Guiding Stones - you'll eventually want two, but the deck digs for cards so well only one is really needed for the first portion of the campaign. Pendant of the Queen is an easy upgrade to grab as well. Eventually, grab two Studious, two Forewarned, two Eidetic Memory, and two A Test of Will to round the deck out. All in all, this costs 26 experience, which is on the higher end of what you might get from Dunwich. The extra Studious and Eidetic Memory are probably pretty easy cuts if needed.

As far as replacements, one Tooth of Eztli, one Hyperawareness, both Truth from Fiction, the Occult Lexicon, both Research Librarian, and both Barricade are the cards you'll want to cut. I like Truth from Fiction as a card in theory but I felt action-constrained enough where I never had the chance to play it. Logical Reasoning came in handy once or twice but it is cuttable as well probably, if your co-investigator has a lot of Sanity.

The Forewarned, Eidetic Memory, Live and Learn, and A Test of Will package means the deck can ignore just about anything strange the encounter deck throws at it, with most of the encounter tests made simple between Tooth of Eztli, Hawk-Eye Folding Camera, and Higher Education.

While early on Research Librarian is great for removing Shocking Discovery from the deck, later on when you're simply swimming in cards from Studious making it easier to find Mr. "Rook" and Eureka! to cash in, and higher shroud locations making Crack the Case more valuable, losing a Mr. "Rook" activation is less painful and we can swap the Research Librarian out for something better. While Pendant of the Queen is normally a little hard to find, Mr. "Rook" makes it extremely painless to put together, and after it breaks, fishing it out a second time of a 12-card deck is also quite easy.

Unearth the Ancients is great to drop in an early Dr. Milan Christopher or Mr. "Rook" when you're a little resource light, though it does come at cost of a card. Because this deck has so much built-in card draw, and resources can be scarce at times, this is a reasonable tradeoff, I think.
