Just play Bangle of Jinxes and Spectral Shield and let all enemies be your followers for the rest of the game.
Use Runic Axe as endless charges' battery, as main weapon and as a source of healing and card drawing.
Use Backpack to find the bangles and axes.
Use your spell assets to investigate.
Use Forbidden Knowledge to kill Arcane Initiate once you have played the shields.

Jun 26, 2025Thanks Regarding fighting with the axe, you are at 6 if spending one charge. You may improve your combat easly with Antiquary since the axe is Relic or with the Living Ink after you use yours backpacks. I am thinking on running this deck through a campaing soon and for sure I will take The Great Work. |
With this much survivability The Great Work could be tempting.
Getting the combo together seems really reliable with the amount of draw and Backpacks. I'm just curious what further investments would be great to make the build even better. Deny Existence For extra Encounter insurance? Or maybe Dayana Esperence attached to spells that cancel Encounters, so your allies barely have to worry about the enemies you kidnap as groupies and now also don't have to worry about other treacheries. The strong suit of the combo is ignoring and nullifying danger, after all.
I'm also a bit curious if there's something in Akachi's available card list to help with Runic Axe accuracy, 3 can fumble the axe sometimes, and using the charges for the +2 to hit feels bad.
