Following the theme of oddities, chose Survivor as the Secondary class instead of Guardian, which is arguably stronger.
Primary reason for this choice is due to playing on hard difficulty, which means Lucky! and Live and Learn see much more play than I'd care to admit
The presence of Carolyn Fern also mitigates the need for Extra Ammunition (1) as Carolyn Fern will be distributing both it and Custom Ammunition (3), which was of great help.
On hindsight, Tony's strong 5 was still insufficient for hard difficulty, though this is mitigated somewhat with Well Connected and High Roller.

Priority for any weapon. Followed by Lucky Cigarette Case and Leo De Luca. Once Borrowed Time (6) is acquired, priority goes to it.
In game
Straightforward monster hunting. Once Borrowed Time (6) is in play, bide time banking actions while there's no enemies around as well as go for big turns with Pay Day (1)
Upgrade path

High Priority
- Charon's Obol (2) because Rogue cards are expensive
- Pay Day (1) with Tony getting additional actions from Leo De Luca and his own special, it should be quite the pay day
- .41 Derringer (2) found that it did not work out well on hard difficulty, and should have gone for Lupara (3) first
- Borrowed Time (6) allows Tony to conserve energy as enemies may not be trickling on. Also has a strong synergy with Pay Day
Medium Priority
- High Roller (2) originally brought along for treachery mitigation, found that it was also useful when needing to do other ad-hoc actions such as investigating
- Momentum (1) highly versatile card
- Charisma (3) depending on whether you're sacrificing Leo De Luca for Lola Santiago or if you're bringing on story assets
- Lola Santiago excellent for ad-hoc cluing and the stat boost
- Lupara (3)
- Ace in the Hole (6)
- Double, Double (8) excellent with Ace in the Hole (6) and Pay Day (1)
Low Priority
- Sure Gamble (3)
- All In (5) mitigates card draw issues
- Double or Nothing (3) taboo cost
