Main Strategy:
-
Dr. Milan Christopher is your best friend, get him out there as soon as possible.
-
Lucky Cigarette Case is your main source of card draw. and when upgraded, will be your main way out of most sticky situations you find yourself in.
-
Bank Jobs & Fences. the more of them you have, the easier it will be to gain money and actions.
-
Prioritize drawing into cards that will help you trigger your ability to deal with unexpected enemies who jump you, like your Shadow Agents. these are cards like Breaking and Entering, Existential Riddle, In the Shadows, Elusive, Cryptographic Cipher etc.
Blackmailing, Surveilling, and Investigating:
-
Once you've got all your cards in place, the main priority is to always sit at a location with clues. Trish has a werid relationship with clues here. she wants to be associated with them, using them as cover against enemies that may pop up. not necessarily picking them up.
-
If there is 1 clue remaining and you have 1 action left, it is better to leave it there to be prepared for when an enemy may show up, and boy, you will be happy that you did.
-
As you can tell, Trish has a unique mindset when it comes to caring about clues. and therefore, is very exposed when there are no clues. I suggest picking up cards that can help you move to new locations or cards that place clues down. like Quick Study, Forewarned, Hiking Boots and Gené Beauregard. Elusive and Olivier Bishop also helps with this problem.
Mindsets, Predictions, and Awareness:
-
This may be the only difficult part about this build, which requires you to be aware of your surroundings & situations. this means talking out tactics with your fellow gators and asking them to engage or hold off from killing enemies.
-
Of course, the more investigators the more likely one enemy will be drawn during mythos, and you want to make sure you take full advantage of it, if possible. sometimes ignore enemies you simply cant benefit from in favor of setting yourself up or quickly picking up clues is the better play.
-
If you have the choice to activate your ability per round, 9 times out of 10 you prefer to take it, it's just testless, actionless value.
-
Really, It depends on how your teammates operate and what cards you prefer in your deck. Rogues are well known for adapting to their current situation. so by all means, trust yourself in making the right call when maneuvering this deck.
General Rogue Exceptionals:
-
The Red Clock: helps with both actions and money. as well as passing your tests by alot.
-
The Gold Pocket Watch: gets better the more players there are. a multiplayer must.
-
The Skeleton Key: Combos with Lola Santiago and Cryptographic Cipher. it is costly on action management however.
