Bloody Hands Agnes doesn't play about. Weaving magic out of her own blood, she erases bosses.

The general idea is simple. Walk about using a combination of resources and life to get clues and kill minor enemies. Set up your Astral Mirror, jar and healing as you go. By the time the boss wakes up, he's screwed .

The deck starts with three arcane slots thanks to Occult Reliquary. That plus Astral Mirror gives five hand slots. If you fill up the Binder's Jar with enemies, that raises to seven hand slots. With those enabled, Agnes can use the Blood of K'n-yan to attack for eight damage at 19

As a side benefit, having all those empty arcane slots results in enormous draw for Eldritch Initiation.

But how can we go around without any assets? Spells. Lots and lots of spells. About half of the cards in this deck are spells and Bad Blood Baker is a master of those. Not only can she sling them out for 1 damage instead of 2 resources, she can put them back in the deck and use her Heirloom to draw after every single cast!

But what about all that damage we're taking for cheap spells? Well, that's what Hallowed Mirror is for. Not only does it heal us for cheap, but Soothing Melody is also a spell. More drawing!

Weaknesses: This is definitely not a solo deck. While she can grab clues, she's doing it with spells. Solo games often have a lot of locations with only one clue. This is a huge waste for her clue tools Drawn to the Flame and Read the Signs. Additionally, we never improve her base stats and she isn't packing any skills. Many scenarios have tests you must pass and we're going to have a time doing so. Pair her with a soloist and you'll be ready to dunk on this game.

Further XP and options: The 18xp version here is the core, but there are a number of upgrades you can make. Replacing Drain Essence at higher levels is recommended as the base 5 isn't going to impress later monsters. You can replace that with The Hierophant • V for even more violence or even Promise of Power for a flexible skill card. Mostly though, you'll just want to upgrade what you already have.
