My playstyle has changed a lot, I used to run a ton of assets, but now I run a ton of skills. I knew I wanted to get back to my old playstyle at some point, but I keep delaying it because assets are so expensive and cost an action to play, while skills are always free. This is the second Darrell Simmons deck I've ever made (and could use some refining, the lack of skills hurt me), but it fixed my problems with assets (kinda, cause this deck is jankyy). This deck can works as main cluever, but it's only super fun as a support/secondary cluever because you're going around doing your janky things.
How it works:
Mulligan hard for Shrine of the Moirai, Unearth the Ancients, and Scavenging. But especially Shrine of the Moirai.
Play Flashlight through Scavenging, and return item into your hand (you can play if you have the resources for it). Hopefully the Flashlights and multiple item were Short Supplied.
Make sure you have Shrine of the Moirai, so you can reoccur Unearth the Ancients, and play assets without worrying about it's high cost by using 2x Flashlight at once and your ability (to a possible 6 resources discount by lowering the difficulty by 6).
When you already saved enough resources, you could use Shrine of the Moirai to just bring non-item assets back into your hand if they were Short Supplied and play them normally.
Hypothetically you could play 4 assets a turn by using Shrine of the Moirai to return 2x Unearth the Ancients a turn while also getting (at least) 2 clues a turn for it.
Again this deck is super janky, and half of the assets in the deck could honestly be removed for skills, but it was just so fun just playing assets for (basically) free every round.
