For the 19XP version:
- cut Stick to the Plan
- replace Ever Vigilant with another 1-2-Punch
- downgrade the Mirror to level 0.
This Zoey deck is centered around Bestow Resolve and making her teammates life easier. Once set up, she gets incredible value out of Occult Lexicon and Hallowed Mirror, as she can play Melody/Rite and then stash it under the Crystallizer to be committed for 3 wild icons with Bestow.

Oct 11, 2023Yeah, there's no way to refill Bestows. It just had to be charges... for secrets or supplies there would've been ways, but no luck here. I thought about including another arcane slot or two to make them cycle back into the deck eventually, but that seemed very not worth it. I feel like eight charges should carry you through most scenarios though. The typical scenario is 13-15 turns, so you can on average Bestow a card every other turn or so. Combined with the rest of the deck and just Crystallizer doing its thing for most bread and butter tests that should suffice. Look into Akachi if you want to recharge Bestows :D |

Oct 11, 2023Using the 3xp version of Hallowed Mirror means that all copies of Soothing Melody stay in play even after the mirror is discarded? So it’s okay to overwrite the mirror with Zoey’s Cross? |
Oct 11, 2023Sure, you can overwrite the Mirror afterwards. Of course that will mean that the Soothing Melodies will no longer heal for 3, but go back to only healing 2. So basically you use the 3XP for upgrading Mirror to get the Melodies active without spending an accessory slot which is sort of a Relic Hunter with extra steps. Sure, it would allow you to have boosted Melodies until you find the Cross to replace the Mirror. But on the other hand, with Relic Hunter the order in which you play the assets doesn't matter. Either way works, i guess. |
Oct 19, 2023I was considering Cunning instead of Eureka due to the potential 6? upside. Any thoughts? |
Oct 20, 2023Cunning really isn't that great without Bestow, so i would be sceptical of that one. I like Eureka in particular because when you don't have Bestow, you can use it to find it. So it pulls double duty, working towards the strategy no matter if you already have everything in place or not. Cunning would be strictly Bestow fodder and the list already has 4 skills in it that can commit for 6 icons. You probably don't need another two? |
That's a really neat idea and something that specifically Zoey can do very well due to her card access. Question though, there's no way to put charges back on Bestow Resolve of recycle it in some way, right? So it's 8 charges and done?
