Mark here carries plenty of ways to soak and recover damage (and horror too, for that matter). Geared up can hit 8/33 cards, so mulligan up. If one of those is backpack, your made in the shade. Stick to the Plan should hold Prepared For The Worst, Ever Vigilant, and "Let God sort them out...", the last of which can only be played by getting Survival Knife triggers or by killing a big monster over multiple turns... but if it's on SttP you'll be ready to play it whenever! (Feel free to replace LGsto with another event, like Heroic Rescue or "Let me handle this!")

Enchant Weapon and Well Maintained are both destined for your knife. The latter primarily exists to protect your valuable investment from asset hate. Painkillers and Smoking Pipe help rearrange your Damage/Horror on Spiritual Resolve to make the most of it's fullheal. Grete provides the occasional clue pickup in a pinch while still pumping up your astounding to-hit. Heroic Rescue(2) and Shortcut help you keep up with your allies. Once you get going, remember to keep actual damage OFF of yourself and on your assets, where Shell-Shock can't ruin your day.
