I ran this deck as the primary seeker of a 4-player team in The Circle Undone (featuring a couple of brief stops in Egypt). The goal was to abuse the hell out of The Necronomicon and Pendant of the Queen. It was extremely fun to test the limits of Mandy's search potential. The deck was capable of erasing bosses with free actions and scooping up a ton of free clues. Even when it stalled by repeatedly drawing Shocking Discovery or Astounding Revelation, a 5 Lore seeker only needs backup for monster management, which my allies had in spades.
Resources were the main limiting factor. Playing The Necronomicon twice is lovely, but it was difficult to do more than that, even with all of the money in the deck. Same goes for the other 2 points of abuse, Pendant of the Queen and Mr. "Rook". If I did it again, I might try to find more economy options, or at least be a little more aware of my buddy's Rite of Sanctification.
The Miskatonic Army was a lot of fun. It can be awkward or risky to play Flare or Favors, particularly with Shocking Discovery still in the deck, but their efficiency with Mandy's ability is a wonder to behold. Even despite the pesky Miskatonic union charter, the soak from the Docent or Librarian is good to have even if you can't or don't want to use their ability.
The "Tome Toolbox" was fun, but implemented a bit late to see much use. Taboo'd Scroll of Secrets impressed me as a support option. Magnifying Glass deserves a shout-out as a free way to repeatedly overwrite The Necronomicon to be able to Scavenge it back.
The deck is "done" with 34 experience: Necronomicon (8), Segments (4), Rooks (8), Docents (2), Knowledge (4), Funding (4), Versatile (2), Flares (2-?). Non-taboo, this setup is worth 16, which is wild.
