Trish is a capable clue gatherer and decent at evasion. Your investigator ability and weakness both require you to investigate, so it's usually a good idea to do so. You can improve your ability to investigate successfully with cards like Dr. Milan Christopher and Magnifying Glass.

Because Trish excels at discovering clues at locations with enemies, you have the option of deciding whether to evade them first or investigate while they can "see" you. Cards like working a hunch are fast and allow you to discover clues without provoking attacks of opportunity and it also triggers your ability. Obfuscation allows you to investigate freely without fear of reprisal. If combat is your only option, you can rely on backstab, sneak attack, and .25 Automatic to make quick work of enemies both ready and exhausted.
