The deck I used to pair with Win to beat Guardians of the Abyss. lots of resource to play event. Drawing thin, take heart, emergency cache to to to take resource. Resource & well prepared can both be used to trigger physical training.

Nathaniel Cho's deckbuilding options list level 0-5 guardian cards and level 0-5 neutral cards. Versatile lets you include one copy of a level 0 card from any faction, but this deck appears to be using 10 survivor cards. Also don't forget that if this is standalone mode then you should have 3x Random Basic Weakness for 28 XP rather than just 1x.

Don't get discouraged though, I see the underlying theme and it's a good effort! Good luck with your future deckbuilding.

@The_Wall Thanks for the comment. Yes, this is stand-alone mode.

Random Basic Weakness - Yes. I played with 3 random basic weaknesses. I’m not sure whether this deck builder allows you to add 3 random basic weaknesses in the list.

Versatile - It increases your deck size +5 and it forces you to build your deck with 35 card size. So you are getting 5 x level 0 card for free I believe? Also, another thing I’m curious about is you play standalone mode and you have versatile from the beginning. Doesn’t it mean you should ignore the exp of other class cards?

I'll comment on this one rather than both your decks.

In the deckbuilder, you can go to the "special" tab which has weaknesses and character and campaign-specific cards. I didn't realise that it only lets you take 1x "Random Basic Weakness", so my bad on that.

Versatile does indeed let you fill out your extra slots immediately (in fact you have to do so), but apart from what it says on the card you must still follow all other deckbuilding rules. You aren't "replacing" cards in your deck so you don't pay the 1 XP tax for the new level 0 cards you add, so essentially you are getting those cards for free, yes.

However with the exception of one copy of one level 0 , , , or card, you need to stick to Guardian cards level 0-5 and neutral cards level 0-5 only for Nathaniel Cho (as per his deckbuilding options on the back of the card). He can't take any other cards including the Survivor cards you have here such as Drawing Thin, Fight or Flight, Perseverance, Scrounge for Supplies, Resourceful, nor Take Heart. You could at most have one single copy of one of those cards, not all of them.

I hope this helps. The FAQ entry for Versatile (click the card name here) clarifies a bit but not everything! More information about deckbuilding can be found on page 8 of the Rules Reference.
