Mandy Thompson Returns from Carcosa

This is the Mandy Thompson deck I completed Return to Carcosa with alongside Tony Morgan. Such a powerful combination, Mandy is a strong clue finder and Tony pretty much always had the moves to protect her.

Star of the show was probably Dream Diary Dreams of a Madman, because it gave me a pretty much permanent get out of jail card when enemies were engaged with me (evade 7). It led to an epic finale at the top of the tower in Black Stars Rise where she was able to evade and run, then get things done just in time. Stressful!

Mandy's searching continues to also be a hugely fun mechanic, often i will aim to see her weakness asap so that I can search safely from then on. I love that Mr Rook's downside basically overlaps with its impact. Segment of Onyx is usually the card i most want, as Pendant of the Queen is just beastly good, and once it was out it basically trivialised Return to The Pallid Mask.

10/10 would play this investigator combo again.

Note that No Stone Unturned and Ancient Stone were purchased post-campaign, as I intend to carry on with these traumatised decks into Dunwich. But after the final scenario, Mandy has a little side project she's working on now too...
