I kinda made a story in my head where Diana is redeemed by saving the girl on the Arcane Initiate card, Like THAT was the point where Diana realized what they were doing was wrong and made a vow that come hell or high water she would get her friend out of dodge and to safety.

In my head the Initiate is traumatized by the ritual they invoked and Diana has taken a very mother hen protective role with her, This ironically works really well with Diana from a gameplay perspective since she wants the more defensive and healing to empower her willpower and mitigate her weakness.

I kinda went back and forth over Machete or Survival Knife but I think Survival Knife would be a more normal thing to find or loot in a survival situation, Gameplay wise it is probably worse as it doesn't deal with chaff as well without resorting to using charges off Shrivelling but it does the nice plus where it doesn't use up actions in order to deal damage and the deck does have the healing to take a few hits.

So do you think the womance will survive the city or is the deck too weak to make good on it's escape?.

Clever story! It's neat when folx build roleplay decks as opposed to just going for raw power.

Since you're not going for raw power, the only thing I'd note is Uncage The Soul. You only have 4 cards in the deck that this can play, and UTS is worthless (short of 2 will pips) without them. Maybe a couple more Items/Supplies/Cancels instead will help Diana be a more dependable protector.

hmm I've narrowed it down to Drawn to the Flame, Eldritch Inspiration or True Grit, which do you think would work better?
